The training program "Energy Transition & Management for Public Sector Strategists" provides in-depth knowledge, case studies, and excursions addressing the following topics:

Overall objectives of the program:
- Equip public sector strategists with in-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies and policies.
- Enhance skills in project management and financial planning specific to renewable energy initiatives.
- Foster leadership capabilities to drive the energy transition within government entities.
- Provide practical, hands-on experience through workshops, case studies, and site visits.
- Enable participants to develop and present a capstone project focused on creating an energy transition strategy for a specific government entity.
The training program includes
- 12 weeks of full-time classroom training at different Fraunhofer Institutes in Germany, incl. Freiburg, Oberhausen and Bremen,
- 4 follow-up online sessions after the in-person phase to offer individualized mentoring and support during the completion of the capstone project,
- work on an individual capstone project for the whole time of the training,
- supervision of the capstone project every Friday morning throughout the entire training period.
